Meet Our Team

Every page on this site is written by someone with a name attached to it, not a house byline or an anonymous “editorial team” credit. If you read a review, a guide, or a news piece here, you can trace it to the person who did the work, and to the second person who checked it before it went live. This page is about that team, what we require of them, and who they currently are.

Editorial Leadership

We're a small, new publication, and we'd rather say that plainly than inflate the team on paper. As we add people, they go through the same vetting, and this page is kept current so it always reflects who is actually writing and editing here today.

OUR APPROACH

What It Takes to Write for Review My Casino

We hold every member of our in-house team to the same bar, whether they joined on day one or are the newest hire:

  • A verifiable background in iGaming research, consumer or financial journalism, or a closely related field

  • Willingness to test the product directly, creating accounts, reading terms in full, checking support and mobile experience themselves — rather than summarising what an operator’s marketing page says

  • Full disclosure of any financial or professional relationship with a gambling operator, before they’re assigned to cover it

  • Formal agreement to our Editorial Policy, including the condition that no commercial relationship is allowed to shape a rating or a recommendation

The Team

Our Writers & Reviewers

Each contributor profile below follows the same structure: what they cover, their relevant background, and how to see their published work.

jake-benjamin

Jake Benjamin

Editor-in-Chief

Jake sets the editorial standard every piece on this site is measured against, and signs off on anything that touches how an operator is scored or described. His background is in consumer financial journalism, covering how regulation actually plays out for everyday users rather than how it reads on paper, the same lens he now applies to gambling regulation. He has final say on any judgment call our methodology doesn't clearly resolve.

clarke-richards

Clarke Richards

Gambling Guides Editor

Clarke owns our Guides section and is responsible for making sure a reader who's never gambled online before can actually follow what we've written, without losing accuracy in the process. He came from consumer finance guide-writing, where the same tension — keeping things simple without oversimplifying, was the daily job.

Fact-Checking & Editorial Oversight

Every published page passes through a second person before it goes live — the author does not publish their own work unreviewed. Factual claims (licensing bodies, bonus terms, payment processing times) are checked against the original source at the time of publication, and again at each scheduled review. Our full process is documented on the Review Methodology and Editorial Policy pages.
